Our Story

A mother and a daughter. Twenty-two years of Perth style.

Twenty-two years ago, in a small house in Perth, our family was hit by the kind of month you cannot prepare for. I lost my job, my husband's hours were cut, and the bills kept arriving. I remember sitting at the kitchen table after the children were asleep, doing sums that refused to add up.

I had spent years buying cheap coats that fell apart and expensive coats I could not justify. I knew I was not the only woman tired of choosing between the two. So I began sourcing well-made, classic pieces and selling them from that same kitchen table.

The first customers became our messengers. They wrote to us, told their sisters and neighbours, and trusted us to find quality that lasts, cuts that flatter real bodies, and clothes that respect the women who wear them.

Grace grew up inside the business, with homework at one end of the table and order slips at the other. She helped turn a kitchen-table idea into a Perth studio and a mother-and-daughter boutique serving women across Australia.
